WELCOME ! ! !

Singers, Song~Writers, Musicians, Fender, Gibson, Hammond B3, Leslie, Rock n Rool, Harley, Golf, Corvette, Music, Loving, "RED~HOT~YOU" I am William Dewuie Phillips III,

First The Smoking Frog Dave Whitelock after working on the WestTennessee Music Samplour is now back in his home land of Wales and would love for You to check out his page as well. It has some GREAT! West Tennessee Music!!!

Now then Tony Mac got his idea for a recording studio down a Grand Maw's place! in Johnson's Grove TN but i wlll let him tell You~All bout that!

Tony Mac speaking, got this idea for a Recording Studio when early one morning as my School Bus driver Mr. Paul Fewell (Love You Mrs. Kattie Sue!) stopped the bus for the Philips boys, what caught my eye was the Long White Lemo then i saw Legends of Rock and Roll, then the harrow of Mrs. Dorthy's home only smoldering ashes left but there they were with a check form Elvis to make sure the sons of their friend Daddy 0 Dewey Philips were taken care of. Elvis was out in Las Vagus that night when he got word of the fire & he knew it was to far for him to make it in time, but he got back up Mr. Sam Philips and Mr. George Kline in Crockett County Tennessee by Morning Dew! That is Love any way You can look at it.

Speaking of Elvis! and Crockett County Tennessee Now Mr. Theo Antwine while cutting my hair told me "As a small boy on hot days headed home the school bus driver would stop under a shade tree and pull out an "OLD GUITAR" and play two songs then drive on, he had a million songs 'ONE BEAT' first time third lick i ever heard a Elvis song on the radio "I knew who it was playing that guitar I heard that beat all my life my old Gasden Tennessee school bus buddy Scotty More! was tearing it up" If You don't know it is "WRITTEN" in the History Books that a Crockett County SchoolBus Driver gave Rock~&~Roll it's heartbeat! Love You Mr. Theo!

Now to COTTONFIELDS Recording Studio She was first to be built in and out of cottonfield dirt! Using a 5000 year old secret of RAMMED EARTH BUILDING BUT in my studies i have also come across another building method FerroCement that uses one inch poultry wire to reinforce 3 to 1 concrete, so floor, walls and roof can be made together! aka: monlithic. In a close to indistrubale building This seams to be less work and cost!!! Expecially since I now have an Essick PG-12 motar pump that will spray 6 cubic yards of material an hour! While i sit back and watch the building show up!

A basic 30'W X 60'L X12' down to 9'H building will yeild a control room of 20' at one end 15' at the other W X 30'L X 12'H at 20' end to 9'H at 15 'end [shape of old movie theater except cieling is tilted instead of floor] and 30X40 studio with the same 5% offset on walls and cieling to floor. Built in the best possible shape for accoustics. OKed by Murphy Odom Legendary Memphis Tenneseee Studio Builder who grew up in the BlackWoods Brothers Studios (ask Bobby Jones!) and another Man in i call friend legendary World Wide Studio Builder John Medrith credits THE RECORD PLANT, ELECTRIC LADY LAND, ABBY ROAD. The ferrocement building is still going to need the inside walls covered with a great product ThermoCon. Witch will sound proff, kill the reverbration, as well as insulate. Then we drop back another 12" from the outside walls and errect an outside wall. Witch my get filled with the good ole Tennessee cottonfield dirt?
